THE DINNERS WILL FEATURE DEAR COLLEAGUES AND FRIENDS DANIEL PATTERSON AND FRANÇOIS DAUBINET.
 
The Chefs Walter and Margarita are thrilled to announce that they will be collaborating with Chefs Daniel Patterson and François Daubinet for a one-night-only tasting menu experience on Saturday, November 23rd to celebrate République’s 11th anniversary.
 
Daniel Patterson is a renowned chef and restaurateur known for his Michelin-starred restaurant Coi in San Francisco, Alta Adams in Los Angeles, as well as his innovative fast food venture LocoL. He co-founded two nonprofits focused on youth empowerment and food insecurity and has received numerous accolades, including the James Beard Award for “Best Chef: West” in 2014. An accomplished writer, Patterson has contributed to The New York Times and authored three cookbooks, with plans to open a new fine dining restaurant, Jaca, in Los Angeles in 2025.
 
François Daubinet honed his skills through eight rigorous years with France’s esteemed Compagnons du Devoir before joining New York’s iconic Financier Pâtisserie. He returned to Paris to further refine his craft with Christophe Michalak at the Three Michelin-starred Plaza Athénée before taking the role of Head Pastry chef at renowned Two Michelin-starred restaurant Le Taillevent in 2015. His latest venture takes him to Los Angeles, where he has recently opened his first location in collaboration with Guillaume Guedj, founder of the acclaimed restaurant Mr. T, as a way of showcasing his pastry vision in the U.S.
